We offer a broad curriculum that is delivered in three main stages:
Junior Cycle (three years) – we offer the Junior Certificate programme
Transition Year (one year, optional) – our T.Y. programme aims to promote self-directed learning
Senior Cycle (two years) – see the senior cycle section for details of the programmes
These programmes are delivered in the context of committed and professional teaching with outstanding results achieved across the ranges of abilities. Over the years we have consistently produced exceptional results in the Leaving Certificate. In 2011, over 17% of our students received more than 500 C.A.O. points. This represents more than double the national average. Similarly, the number of our students achieving more than 550 and 400 points was more than double the national average.
It is not surprising that a huge percentage of our students go on to take degree level courses in third level. In 2010 70% of our students continued their education in on of the seven Universities or teacher training colleges. This made us the top performing school in the South East and the 4th best performing school in Leinster (excluding Dublin).
