Open Night 2012

We invite sixth class girls and their parents/guardians to attend our Open Night which will take place at 6:45pm on the 4th of October.  This will give families the oportunity to take a tour of the school, meet members of our staff and attend a presentation providing key information.  Please note that to attend this night you must obtain a ticket.  Tickets have been posted to those on our mailing list.  If you are not on our mailing list, tickets can be obtained by calling into the school office or by emailing us at office@loretokk.ie or by phoning 056-7765132.  Please note that there are two parts to the night: the presentation and the tour.  Your ticket will indicate which you should attend first.  We look forward to welcoming you to our Open Night.

General procedures for enrolling your daughter in a First Year class.

Submit an official application form between the first and third Monday of October when your daughter is in 6th Class in Primary School.

  • Make sure that you are aware of how places will be allocated if the demand for places is greater than the number of places available. This will be outlined in the Admissions Policy which will be issued in September of the year in which your daughter is in 6th Class.
  • Prior to application you should familiarise yourself with our main School Policies by following this link.
At any stage prior to application, you are advised to complete and return a Mailing List Form. If you submit this form to us, you (and your daughter) will be placed on a mailing list and an application form and a copy of the up-to-date Admissions Policy will be sent to you when your daughter is in 6th Class. Completing this form will have no bearing on the decision to offer your daughter a place in the school.  The length of time on our mailing list is not considered when places are being allocated.

Our Admissions Policy...

  • Outlines how decisions are made in relation to applications for a place in our school.
