Tuesday 11th of October is a day that will remain in the memories of 42 studentsand the 4 teachers who travelled up to Dublin for the day. First off was a match for our 1st Year soccer team against Alexandra College who were managed by Ireland U-15 manager Dave Collins. Ms Lanigan was extremely impressed by the way the first years played. Overall it was a wonderful effort by the Kilkenny side who eventually came out on top 3 - 1. Olivia Nolan was outstanding at the back and Sophie O`Dwyer (2) and Niamh Deely(1) were the goal scorers on the day.

Up next and not to be outdone is our U-15 team. Mr Fitzpatrick joined Barry on the sidelines and he was very impredded by the skill level and application of our second and third year soccer team. The team ran out easy winners on a scoreline 5 - 0.
Then it was onwards to the Aviva stadium where Ireland played Armenia in a crucial World Cup Qualifier.
