For over four decades, Loreto Secondary School has had an active students` council contributing greatly to the life of our school.

The council has representatives from each class group in the school and meets fortnightly.  The council organises a number of successful student events during the year and acts as the representative forum of the student body.

The council is also consulted on policy changes that impact on students.

The Head Girl and Deputy Head Girl fulfill the role of President and Vice President of the council.  All other officers (including Chairperson) are elected by the council themselves.
