The following are the results from the All Ireland schools Cross Country championships held at Sligo race course on Saturday March 5th.
Loreto Senior team got 2nd overall. Receiving Silver medals were: Lauren Dermody, Abigail O’Keeffe, Grace Richardson and Meghan McCarthy
Loreto Intermediate team also got 2nd. Silver medals were presented to: Annie McEvoy, Ella Richardson, Annie O’Connor, Ciara Murphy and Sinead O’Keeffe. (Issey Shine was an extra sub).
The stars of the day were the Minor team who got 1st place overall. Gold medals and the winners’ cup were presented to: Hannah O’Keeffe, Aine Kirwan, Orla O’Keeffe, Ellen Fitzgerald, Hannah Lodge and Abby Gilsenan.
